This Project Is Focused On The Study Of Fruit And Food Quality Testing. Fruits Are Important Materials For Plants, Whose Developmental Stage Also Has A Significant Influence On The Content And Composition Of Components. Fruits Play A Vital Part In The Human Diet Due To Their Nutritional Properties, Vitamin Content, Dietary Fiber, Phytochemicals, And Antioxidants. The Quality Of Fruits Is A Major Concern For Consumer Acceptance And Market Value. In Addition, The Demand For High-quality Fruits Has Been Increasing Worldwide In Recent Years. The Detection Of Fruit Quality Is A Vital Concern In The Horticulture Industries For Fruit Safety And Quality Assurance. Traditional Quality Assessment Methods Are Labor-intensive, Time-consuming, And Destructive. Non-destructive Methods, Like Biophoton Emission (BPE) Measurement, Offer Promising Alternatives, Providing Quantitative And Qualitative Data Without Harming The Fruit. We Have Used The Biophoton Emission Technique To Assess The Quality Of Fruit From Fresh Condition To Storage Level Up To Nine Days. DL Was Measured As Per Standardized Protocol Using A Highly Sensitive Photon Unit The Number Of Photons Counts Rate Was Measured Every 10ms Periods For 5 Min. The Biophoton Emission Data Show That The Samples With The Highest Initial Photon Emission And Longest Decay Time Exhibited The Most Significant Quality Degradation During Storage. Plants Emit Photons; This Occurs Primarily During The Oxidation Of Cell Constituents, Such As Lipids, Proteins, And Nucleic Acids, Bringing About The Development Of Excited Species, Which, Following Undergoing An Electronic Transition Phase, Return To The Ground State. A Significant Difference Was Observed In Photon Emission From The First To Last Day Measurement Of Fruit Quality. The Biophoton Emission Technique Is A High-speed And Non-invasiveness Method For The Detection Of Abiotic And Biotic Stress In Plants. Further, The Detailed Standardization And Respective Threshold Values Can Be Explored For Better Agriculture Practices For Testing Fruit Quality And Also To Raise Health Preservation Awareness Regarding The Consumption Of Local Fruit Products.
